The offshore Zippers is an expert-level, right-hand reef break, while Zipper’s Restaurant is the ultimate beachfront hangout. Local and visiting surfers flock to the beginner-friendly Middle and the more demanding La Roca breakers. There’s plenty of sun and sand here, and this is one of Los Cabos’ better-walking beaches.

Hotel Beach
The Presidente InterContinental All Inclusive Los Cabos Resort is located on the south side of the San Jose del Cabo estuary. In contrast, the Las Mananitas condo resort complex is located on the north side.

Playa del Tesoro
The famous San Jose del Cabo estuary begins near the east end of the Playa Hotelera (Hotel Beach) in San Jose del Cabo. The freshwater lagoon is home to approximately 350 types of fauna and luxuriant greenery. The river and lagoon, which are fed by subsurface aquifers, are one of the rare oases on the otherwise arid Southern Baja peninsula.

La Playita

Activities in San Jose Del Cabo

Local art businesses and trendy coffee cafes fill the old downtown streets of most communities. Outside of the towns, golden beaches attract surfers from around the World. After some surfing, people tend to stroll through the bars for a celebratory drink. Many fishing events take place around the shores of San Jose del Cabo. Surfing events are held every year on the seas surrounding Zippers. San Jose del Cabo is a more laid-back option than Cabo San Lucas.

Art Walk
Between November and June, the San Jose del Cabo Art Walk is a popular weekly event every Thursday evening from 5 to 9 p.m. The Gallery District Association created, marketed, and coordinated this event to attract art enthusiasts and tourists away from the central plaza and into the colorful back alleyways behind the church.

With its popularity rising over time, the local authorities decided to restrict Obregon’s main street to automobile traffic every Thursday evening to accommodate all visitors to our District. Enjoy an evening stroll in the Gallery District, stopping by art galleries, sipping wine, and dining at local eateries. Special events, such as “artists in attendance” or the launch of new shows, are frequently held by galleries. Downtown San José is bustling on Thursday evenings thanks to the Art Walk’s rising popularity. Still, the heart, soul, and refinement of this weekly event lie inside the confines of the Gallery District, inside the galleries located behind the church and main square Plaza Del Pescador.

San Jose Estuary and Bird Sanctuary

Auniti Catholic Church

Puerto Los Cabos
Currently, Puerto Los Cabos has a 27-hole destination golf resort. Cabo Real Golf Club
Cabo Real Golf Club is the centerpiece of a 2,800-acre resort and residential complex with 3.2 miles of coastline and a multi-themed, target-style course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. The club’s nines were recently reversed, substantially improving the layout’s flow and drama. Cabo Real, which has hosted two PGA Senior Slam tournaments (1996 and 1999), is an excellent and well-balanced test of golf. Palmilla Golf Club
The One&Only Palmilla Golf Club, which overlooks the Sea of Cortez, features a beautiful 27-hole course designed by Jack Nicklaus. The golf course is separated into three nines, each named after distinct landscape elements. They are played in three different 18-hole configurations on the front and back nines, giving players a unique experience. The Arroyo/Mountain Course boasts the most dramatic elevation changes and some of the most outstanding views of the three golf courses.
